The Club was founded as the Norfolk Cycling Club in 1939 by Albert Coulier (Schelstraete) and now operates as the Silver Spokes Cycling Club.
Albert has left an incredible legacy in Cycling in the area, the province, in Canada and internationally particularly in track racing and the promotion of track events and the construction of velodromes.
